These meatballs have a light sweet taste and delicate structure. In addition, cabbage contains vitamin C, which is extremely necessary in winter. We offer you an easy and inexpensive recipe for making these meatballs.

Products:

  • 400-500 grams of cabbage (usually white)
  • 3-5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 200 grams of rusks or 2-3 slices of white bread
  • 80 grams of butter
  • frying oil
  • 5-6 s. l. flour
  • dill and parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Finely chop the cabbage or use a food processor. Soak the rusks in water for 10-15 minutes, then squeeze them to remove excess water. Parsley is also finely chopped. Put the butter and cabbage in the pan, stew for about 10 minutes, then add the milk and stew for another 15 minutes or until the cabbage is soft. Allow it to cool a bit and pour it into a bowl. Add the softened rusks, parsley and eggs. Mix everything thoroughly. Then add the flour, salt and pepper and stir again.

Heat the oil and fry the meatballs made from the mixture at a medium temperature. If you think that the flour is not enough, add more - the goal is to be able to form meatballs. Fry until golden brown.

Meatballs are served as a separate dish with cream or tomato sauce or as a side dish. You can experiment with the products, for example, if you stew the meatballs with carrot, onion and tomato sauce, you get a very delicate taste.

Enjoy your meal!
