Required products :

  • 8 large figs, halved
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cardamom pods - crush the seeds and discard the pods
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 300 grams of cream
  • 200 milliliters of yogurt - whole
  • finely grated peel of 2 oranges
  • 2 marshmallows with cake kisses
  • 1 tablespoon crushed hazelnuts
  • pomegranate seeds for serving

Method of preparation :

Turn the oven to 200 degrees (or 180 with a fan). Put the figs, pour honey over them and sprinkle with cardamom. Bake for 10 minutes, then put them in a bowl and pour the lemon juice, set aside.

In a large bowl, beat the cream until soft peaks, add half of the orange peel and pour half of the syrup released in the pan when roasting the figs.

Assemble the cake as follows: take a loaf (from Pavlova cake) and place it on a tray. Spread half of the milk cream and place the second loaf on top. Apply a lot of cream again and decorate with figs. Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts and finish with pomegranate seeds. Drizzle with remaining fig syrup and serve.
