How To Cook Cake With Beer, Walnuts, Raisins And Allspice - Recipe

Required products :

300 ml dark beer
300 grams butter
200 grams brown sugar
5 medium eggs
300 grams flour
300 grams small raisins
150 grams walnuts
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons freshly ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt a
pinch of soda

 

Method of preparation :

Remove the oil from the refrigerator to soften. Beat it with the sugar and honey until fluffy. Beat the eggs to a froth and add them to the butter without stopping the beating.

Finely grind the walnuts and mix the resulting flour with the ordinary, sifted with soda and salt. Add the spices.

Combine the egg mass with the dry one, pouring 100 milliliters of dark beer. Add the raisins to the dough.

Then gradually pour in the remaining beer until the consistency reaches that of thick sour cream.

Cover the bottom of the form with a sheet of parchment and distribute the dough evenly in the bowl. Bake in a preheated 160 degree oven for an hour. Then reduce the temperature to 130 degrees, cover the cake with greaseproof paper and leave to cook for another hour.

Wait for it to cool in the form, wrap in parchment and let stand 24 hours before serving.
