Required products :

  • 230 grams of wheat flour
  • 180 grams of oil at room temperature
  • 50 grams of almond leaves
  • 50 grams of seedless raisins
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 110 grams of brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons fresh milk
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • oil to lubricate the mold

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees, grease a rectangular shape (with a capacity of about 1 kg) with oil. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, baking soda, nuts, dried fruit and spices. Melt the butter in a suitable bowl, add honey and sugar. Then remove the pan from the heat and when the mixture cools down a bit, add the eggs and milk, mix well. Gradually add the flour with the other ingredients to this mixture and knead a homogeneous dough. Pour it into the prepared form and bake until done (about an hour and 15 minutes). Allow the finished cake to cool for about 10 minutes and then remove from the pan. Let cool to room temperature.

If desired, serve biscuits, greased with butter.
