How To Cook Cake With Jam And Walnuts - Recipe

Required products :

250 grams of flour

125 grams of butter

150 grams of granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 vanilla

salt on the tip of a knife

 

250 grams of jam of your choice

100 grams of walnuts

 

Method of preparation :

Sift the flour, mix it with the softened butter, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, a pinch of salt and knead a stiff dough.

Cover a suitable container with plastic wrap, place the dough and refrigerate for half an hour.

Meanwhile, grind the walnuts and mix them with the jam.

Divide the dough into two parts - one larger and one smaller. Roll the larger one into a layer about 1 cm thick and 2-3 cm in diameter larger than the container you will be using. Place the dough on the bottom of the form, spread the filling on its surface.

Roll out the smaller part of the dough into an even thinner layer than the first, then cut into thin strips. From them form a "grid" on the walnut filling and bake the cake in a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes.

You can not make a "grid" on the mixture of jam and nuts, but use all the dough as a base.
