Learn how to cook "Cake with marzipan, dark chocolate and poached pears". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
Method of preparation :
Beat the butter, marzipan and 2/3 cup of sugar with an electric mixer for about 3-4 minutes on medium until creamy. Add the extracts and eggs - stirring well after each, to be absorbed by the mixture. Finally, add the flour and cardamom. Mix the chopped pear and chocolate chips with a spatula.
Bake in a cake pan (greased with butter and sprinkled with flour) for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 degrees. Check with a stick that the cake is baked.
Cool completely and then remove the cake from the pan.
Peel the pears, keeping the stalks, rub them well with lemon halves so that they do not turn brown.
Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape the seeds from the inside. Put the pod and seeds in a saucepan, pour the wine and the remaining sugar and heat on low heat.
When the crystals melt, add the peas and add enough water to cover the fruit. Let them cook on low for 15-20 minutes until the pears soften - how long the procedure will take depends on their maturity.
Remove the pears from the pan and set aside. Increase the heat to medium and let the liquid simmer for 10 minutes until the syrup is reduced by half. Pour it over the pears and leave to cool.
Put the fruit in the center of the cake, pour the syrup and serve.
