Grease a rectangular cake pan and cover with paper. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
Sift the flour with the leavening agents and cinnamon.
Beat the oil with the sugar, then add the yolks one by one, stirring well after each one.
Grate the red beets and pour it over the egg mixture, add the lemon juice, raisins and seeds. Combine.
Add the flour to the mixture and stir.
Beat the egg whites until doubled and carefully add them to the cake mixture. Stir with a spatula to combine and pour the dough into the pan.
Bake for 50-55 minutes until dry. Cool the cake for 20 minutes before turning it over and removing it from the pan.
For the glaze, powdered sugar and lemon juice, stir to make a paste. Make a net with it on the cake and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
