Required products :

  • 1 kg of kale leaves and spinach (total should be 1 kg, you decide which plant to use according to your taste)
  • 3 tablespoons cold pressed olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion (finely chopped)
  • 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 500 grams of cooked chickpeas
  • 1.5 teaspoons thyme
  • 1.5 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup yellow raisins
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable broth
  • salt to taste

Method of preparation :

Put the spinach in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Fill with water, put on medium heat and stirring let it cook for 6-8 minutes. Then drain the water with a colander and cut into large pieces.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a suitable pan and pour the chopped onion, garlic. Leave on the stove for 8 - 10 minutes, stirring. Add the prepared chickpeas and spices. Mash some chickpeas, after 3 minutes pour the broth, pour the raisins and mix everything well. It's time for the cabbage, add it (chopped) and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and wait 10 minutes.

Before serving, pour in the remaining olive oil.

The dish is stored in the refrigerator for a maximum of 2 days and warmed before consumption.
