Necessary products:

 

for the dough

 

  • 500 grams of flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 250 milliliters of warm water
  • a pinch of salt and sugar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

 

for the filling

 

  • 1 onion
  • 3 grated tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3 fresh oregano leaves
  • 2 fresh basil leaves
  • a pinch of savory
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 300 grams of minced beef
  • salt, pepper, cumin
  • 1 grated carrot
  • 1 grated clove of garlic
  • 5 grams of red pepper
  • melted butter for spreading

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a bowl, mix the flour with the dry yeast. Add sugar, salt and olive oil to the water. Combine the products and knead the dough. Wait for it to rise and divide it into two parts. Meanwhile, make the sauce. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the onions until golden.

Add the tomatoes, pasta, chopped fresh oregano, basil and savory. Add sugar and minced meat. Crush it with a mixer and season with salt, pepper and cumin to taste. Add carrot, garlic and red pepper. Pour 2-3 tablespoons and stew the mixture for 10 minutes.

Cool and set aside. Roll out two loaves of dough and spread the sauce in the middle of each. Fold in half and press the edges. Arrange the pizzas next to each other in a tray lined with a sheet of parchment. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, grease the calzone with melted butter and bake for 30 minutes. Cool, cut and serve.
