How To Cook Canned Onion In Tomato Sauce With Parsley - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4-5 heads of old onions
  • parsley
  • 120 milliliters of tomato juice or 3 tablespoons of tomato puree
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar 9%
  • teaspoon of sugar
  • 2 pinches of salt

  

Method of preparation :

Cut the peeled onions into circles about 3-4 millimeters thick.

 

Chop the parsley and add to the onion.

 

Heat the oil in a pan, pour the tomato juice. If you use a puree, dilute it with a little water. Add salt and sugar, stir and let simmer for 10 minutes.

 

Add the vinegar and after a minute remove the pan from the heat.

 

Pour the resulting sauce over the onion and stir.

 

Distribute the mixture in jars and sterilize for 10 minutes.
