Necessary products:

500 ml of fresh milk

3 eggs

150 g of sugar

2 tablespoons orange liqueur (or whatever you prefer)

1 tsp vanilla extract

500 ml of water

Method of preparation:

Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Arrange 6 caramel cream tins in a tray or other suitable wide bowl. Then pour 100 grams of sugar into a deep bowl, pour 1/2 cup of mineral water. Melt the sugar over low heat, but do not allow the mixture to boil. Only when you make sure that there are no grains left in the sugar, increase the temperature and wait for it to boil. Don't get me wrong. Cook for 5-7 minutes. During this time, watch as the water begins to evaporate and the syrup becomes thicker and golden, and large bubbles form on its surface. At this point, you need to take the pan off the hob, turn it over and stir the contents. Once a tender caramel-yellow color is obtained, remove from the heat and immerse the bottom of the bowl in ice water for literally a few seconds.

Put 1 tablespoon of caramel in each of the tins. Rotate the container by hand so that the mixture can pass through its walls and distribute the remaining amount with a spoon.

Pour the milk into a saucepan, put on medium heat and when the first bubbles appear, remove from the heat. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until white and gradually add, pouring in the hot milk. Strain the egg cream, add the liqueur and vanilla extract. Stir, remove the formed layer and pour into the caramel tins.

Carefully pour water into the pan in which you have arranged the caramel cream and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Leave the finished dessert in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 7-8 hours. Before serving, remove the caramel cream from the tins with a sharp knife, turn over on a suitable dessert plate with the bottom up. Garnish with fresh strawberries or pieces of other fruit and enjoy the great taste.

Enjoy your meal!
