Required products :

  • 4 apples
  • 225 grams of brown sugar
  • 110 milliliters of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 25 grams of butter

Method of preparation :

Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the crystals melt. Once the sugar is completely melted, add the butter, vinegar, syrup and paint.

Increase the temperature and wait for the mixture to boil, then measure the temperature, it should reach 138 degrees of syrup.

Roll the apples in the hot syrup. Leave them to set on greased foil or a tray.
