How To Cook Caramelized Arpadzhik Onion With Balsamic Vinegar - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 450 grams of onion arpadzhik
  • 1/4 tea glass of white wine or chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and a pinch of black pepper

Method of preparation :

Put olive oil in a large pan, heat on medium heat and stew the peeled onions under a lid for 13-15 minutes until soft. Stir them from time to time. Remove the lid and continue frying for another 3-5 minutes until golden. Remove the pan from the heat and add the wine (broth) and vinegar. Return to the warm oven and stir. Put the lid on and leave for 2 minutes to absorb the liquid and get a caramel wrap around the onions.

Season and serve. You can serve as a side dish to meat, vegetables or an appetizer.
