How To Cook Caramelized Chickpeas With Brown Sugar And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 can of chickpeas
  • 2/3 tea cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter
  • sesame for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Rinse the chickpeas under running cold water and lightly dry it with kitchen paper.
  • Spread it in a pan covered with baking paper and place it in a preheated oven to 400 degrees until completely dry.
  • In a box with a lid, mix the sugar, cinnamon and melted butter.
  • Add the chickpeas, close the lid of the box and shake vigorously to cover the nuts.
  • Spread them again in a pan covered with a new sheet of baking paper and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until caramelized, stirring occasionally.
  • Wait for them to cool before enjoying them.
