Required products :

3 oranges
3 apples
7 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons hot water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
oil

 

Method of preparation :

Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into circles. Put the orange slices on top of the apples so that the citrus juice prevents the apples from darkening.

 

Then roll the slices on both sides in sugar (3 tbsp).

Fry in hot oil until a thin caramel crust forms.

Arrange the circles on top of each other, alternating orange and apple.

Make a sauce by mixing the remaining 4 tablespoons of sugar with two tablespoons of water and lemon juice. Mix everything thoroughly and pour into the caramel left in the pan after removing the apple and orange rings.

Put the mixture on low heat and let it thicken with constant stirring. Pour 50 milliliters of hot water and stir.

 

Drizzle the fruit with the syrup, wait for them to absorb the sweet liquid, decorate as desired and serve.
