Required products :

for swamps:

  • 1/2 teaspoon butter
  • 1 1/4 tea flour
  • 1/4 tea cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg yolk

for the core layer:

  • 1/2 cup sugar sugar crystals
  • 1/4 tea cup butter
  • 1/4 tea cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds

Method of preparation :

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.

Grease a small square pan with oil and cover with paper, then grease it with oil.

Combine flour, sugar and salt with a few pulsations in a food processor. Add the butter and pulse again. Add the yolk and 1 tablespoon of water and again make a few pulsations, to combine the products, crumbs should begin to form.

Transfer the dough to the pan and press on the bottom of the pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

For the nut layer, combine the honey, cream, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan. Cook until melted and mix the products. Continue cooking until the mixture boils and add the nuts. Stir and leave on the stove for another 1 minute.

Pour the nut mixture over the marsh and flatten.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
The finished bars can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days.
