Learn how to cook "Caramelized olives in date jam and ginger". Delicious recipe.
Required products :
450 grams canned pitted olives
2/3 teaspoon date jam
3 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon butter a
little grated ginger
Method of preparation :
Put the jam in a small saucepan, pour the water and add the butter. Place the pan on the hob until the products are melted. When this happens, add the ginger.
Arrange the olives on the bottom of a cake tin large enough to line them up. Sprinkle with a few spoonfuls of their juice (from the can) and pour the sweet mixture over them.
Bake the olives in the oven for about 40 minutes. Stir periodically until the sugar from the jam caramelizes.
Serve the garnish warm or at room temperature in addition to meat dishes.
