Required products :

3-4 medium quinces
1 lemon
200 grams granulated sugar
200 milliliters of water
high-fat whipping cream (for serving)

 

 

Method of preparation :

Peel the quinces.


Cut them into two parts and clean the inside with the seeds.


Save the seeds, they will be used later.


Arrange the halves in a pan and sprinkle with sugar.


Then squeeze the lemon juice on the fruit and sprinkle the separated seeds (they will give the dessert a unique flavor and pink hue).
Put the pan on low heat for about an hour, closing with a lid that covers about 2/3 of the pan.
If the liquid evaporates, add a little water.


In an hour the quinces will be soft, but the real sweetness will appear when the seeds begin to shed their color.


Allow the fruit to cool and serve with the whipped cream.
