Necessary products:

8 tangerines

200 grams of sugar

15 ml of fresh milk

150 ml of water

80 grams of dark chocolate

50 grams of walnuts

Method of preparation:

Wash the tangerines without peeling them and scald them with boiling water. Cut them together with the crust into circles about 5 mm thick and cook for 2 minutes. Then drain the water. Repeat once more: pour clean water, let it boil for 2 minutes and remove the water again (this is necessary to remove the bitter taste from the bark).

Sprinkle the drained fruit with sugar, add 150 ml of water and simmer for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, grind the walnuts.

Remove the cooked tangerines from the syrup and arrange them on foil, baking paper or a tray. Put them in the oven for 15 minutes at 140 degrees. If you want the fruit to be even more crunchy, leave it for 3-5 minutes longer.

Melt the chocolate in a water bath together with the milk.

Dip the pieces of fruit in half consecutively in the chocolate and then in the ground walnuts.

You can serve it as a dessert or use it to decorate various confectionery products.
