Required products :

  • 500-600 grams of juicy carrots
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 500 milliliters of fresh milk
  • left

 

Method of preparation :

Cut the carrots into medium cubes, boil them in salted water, they should remain slightly firm inside (al dante). Drain the liquid.

Melt the butter over medium heat, add the flour and stir until browned and begins to give off a nutty aroma. Then, without stopping the stirring, pour the milk in a thin stream, it should be hot and pre-salted.

Boil the sauce for about 10-12 minutes and remove from the heat.

Drizzle the carrots with the milk liquid, mix them carefully and let them stand for 15-20 minutes before serving.

Serve them warm as an addition to meat and poultry.
