Necessary products:

  • 1/2 teaspoon porridge
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 tablespoons sesame tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons quinoa
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation:

Pre-soak the cashews in clean water and set aside for 4 hours, preferably overnight. Drain and wash thoroughly under running water.

Transfer to the blender jug. Add the water, tahini and stir briefly until the nuts are well ground. Add the garlic and cooked quinoa. Blend at high speed, pausing. Once a homogeneous mixture is obtained, add the spices and switch on the appliance again briefly.

You can use the finished dressing as a substitute for mayonnaise sauces. It goes well with a variety of fresh salads, light meat and fish dishes or as an addition to roasted vegetables.
