How To Cook Casserole With Potatoes, Fennel And Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of sliced ​​red potatoes (unpeeled)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tea cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons grated yellow cheese (or Gruyere cheese)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped basil and parsley
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 3 teaspoons spinach
  • 2 fennels, cut into thin crescents

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 220 degrees.

Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil and season with a quarter teaspoon of salt and pepper. Put them in a large pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees.

Meanwhile, mix the eggs with the milk and salt. Add the yellow cheese, basil, parsley and garlic. Put the baked potatoes in a large bowl, add the spinach and chopped fennel. Drizzle with eggs and stir.

Transfer to a suitable tray, cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for about 30-35 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes to give the casserole an appetizing appearance.

Garnish with more basil and parsley if desired.
