Required products :

  • butter
  • 2 large zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 340 grams of chorizo ​​(or other spicy sausage)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • corn from 2 cobs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated cheddar (or cheese)
  • 1/2 tea cup grated Parmesan (or increase the amount of cheese)

Method of preparation :

Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Grease a rectangular pan with oil.

Put the zucchini in a colander. Sprinkle with salt and drain for 20 minutes, then dry with a towel.

Fry the sausage (use only the inside), chopping it during frying to make it into small pieces.

Mix whole eggs with yolks, milk, spices.

Put half of the chorizo ​​in a pan, spread half of the zucchini, the corn on top (try to keep the larger pieces when you cut the corn from the cob) and the yellow cheese. Drizzle with 1/2 of the egg mixture. Repeat with chorizo, zucchini, corn and cheese, pour the eggs. Finally, sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Bake for 40 minutes until the dish is golden and acquires a crispy crust.

Refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving.
