This recipe for cauliflower is suitable for both a main meal and a side dish to meat, and even for stuffing chicken. Cauliflower absorbs the aromas and adds volume to the dish. It is easy to prepare and is suitable for vegetarians.

Required products :

  • 50 grams of butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 stalks of celery, finely chopped
  • 220 grams of mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons cauliflower (chopped into small pieces)
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable if you want the dish to be vegetarian)

Method of preparation :

Melt the butter in a pan with a fireproof handle.

Fry onions, carrots, celery and mushrooms until soft - about 10 minutes.

Cut the cauliflower into small roses and put it in the pan. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

Add the broth, parsley, thyme and sage. Season with salt and pepper and after 10 minutes, when the cauliflower is soft, remove from the heat.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
