Required products :

  • 250 grams of pasta (mussels)
  • 100 grams of butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 bunch sage, finely chopped (save a few whole leaves)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 900 milliliters of cream
  • 200 grams of smoked cheese
  • 1 1/4 tea cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into roses
  • 1/4 tea cup grated nutmeg

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Grease a large pan.

Boil the paste and drain it, rinse with cold water.

Heat the butter in a pan and add the bay leaf, onion and garlic for about 5 minutes until the onion softens. Remove the bay leaf.

Add the flour and sage to the vegetables and stir, two minutes later add the cream and stir.

Then add half the smoked cheese, parmesan and cooked pasta. Stir to combine. Add half the cauliflower and season, add the nutmeg.

Pour the remaining cauliflower and the remaining smoked cheese into the pan.

Sprinkle with sage leaves and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
