Required products :

  • 200 grams of nonfat cottage cheese
  • 200 grams of cheese
  • 250 milliliters of skim natural yogurt
  • 7 - 8 slices wholemeal bread, whole grains
  • 700 grams of cucumbers
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • a handful of olives
  • 6 teaspoons gelatin
  • juice of 1/2 lemon + 3 tablespoons water
  • pinch of salt
  • parsley or other green spice of your choice

Method of preparation :

Remove the crust from the bread slices, arrange them tightly in a detachable form, they should cover the entire bottom. Grate the cucumbers in bulk without peeling, add salt and leave for a while to remove excess moisture. Pour into a colander, drain the liquid.

Mix the cottage cheese and yoghurt, add the mashed cheese, cucumbers and chopped parsley, add the crushed garlic and pepper to taste and stir.

Pour gelatin with lemon juice and water, leave to swell for 10 minutes and heat to prevent lumps and pour in the milk mixture.

Spread the resulting combination on the bread base, garnish with olives and refrigerate for 4-5 hours.

Serve the dish as a salad.
