Necessary products:

  • 150 grams of wheat flour
  • 250 grams of sugar (150 for the dough and 100 for sprinkling)
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 700-800 grams of cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 50 grams of milk chocolate
  • 3-4 tablespoons walnuts
  • 1 gram of vanilla
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Method of preparation:

Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Beat the egg whites to a froth. Mix the butter (softened) with the sugar, add the yolks, grated chocolate, flour and finally the beaten egg whites. Mix well until smooth.

Grease a pan with oil, pour the mixture into it and level with a spatula. Arrange the cherries on top, let them sink slightly into the dough.

In a separate bowl, mix the sugar you have prepared for sprinkling, powdered sugar, walnuts and sprinkle the fruit evenly.

Bake at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.

Once baked, leave to cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into pieces and serve.
