Required products :

  • 1/2 medium lettuce
  • 4-5 ripe cherry tomatoes
  • 4-5 pieces of bacon
  • 100 grams of blue cheese with mold
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard (Dijon)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (or lime)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method of preparation :

Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them and chop. Spread them on the bottom of a flat plate.

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them on the leaves.

Melt the blue cheese in a suitable bowl, pour in the olive oil, add the mustard and heat the mixture, stirring.

Then leave to cool, then it will thicken even more. Pour over the vegetables in a bowl. The sauce has a sharp taste, so you can mix it with a few spoons of cooking cream to make it more tender.

Cut the bacon into thin slices.

Fry it on both sides until they acquire a nice brownish tan.

Put with lettuce and tomatoes.

Sprinkle the salad with lemon juice and serve immediately.

Enjoy your meal!
