How To Cook Chicken Breast With Peppers, Tomatoes And Capers - Recipe

Required products :

4 pieces of chicken breast with bone
2 sweet peppers - 1 red and 1 yellow
90 grams of prosciutto
2 chopped garlic cloves
450 grams of canned tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon white wine
1 tablespoon fresh oregano
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
500 ml chicken broth
2 tbsp capers
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons olive
salt and ground black pepper to taste


Method of preparation :

Cut the breasts in half to make thin pieces, which you season with salt and ground black pepper. Then fry them in hot olive oil until golden brown (1-2 minutes on each side) and remove to a plate with a slotted spoon.
Fry the chopped peppers and prosciutto in the same fat for about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and a minute later add the tomatoes, capers, wine and spices.
Return the chicken to the bowl with the other products, pour in the broth and wait for the liquid to boil. Then reduce the heat and let the dish cook with the lid closed for 20-30 minutes.
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
You can garnish with rice.
