How To Cook Chicken Fillet In A Pan With Tomatoes And Mozzarella - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chicken fillet in a pan with tomatoes and mozzarella". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 2 pieces of chicken breast, halved
  • 1 teaspoon Italian spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 170 grams of fresh mozzarella, cut into 8 thick slices
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes, cut into 8 thick slices
  • a handful of fresh basil, cut into strips
  • balsamic glaze

Method of preparation :

 

  • In a small bowl, mix the Italian spice, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and season the chicken fillets on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the chicken breasts.
  • Cook for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown, turn and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Spread the tomato and mozzarella slices on each fillet, cover and cook for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the heat and sprinkle with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve the chicken fillets warm, garnished with fresh basil.
