How To Cook Chicken Fillet In Milk Sauce With Spinach And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 pieces of chicken breast
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 140 grams of fresh spinach, rinsed and drained
  • 400 grams of canned artichoke, drained and chopped
  • 1 1/4 tea cups fresh milk
  • 100 grams of shredded cheese
  • 100 grams of grated yellow cheese
  • 1/4 tea cup sour cream
  • red pepper flakes

Method of preparation :

 

  • Lightly thin the chicken fillets with a wooden mallet using the smooth side.
  • Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the steaks and fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Turn them over, add the remaining olive oil and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Transfer the fillets to a plate and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Melt the butter in the same pan and saute the garlic with the flour for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the spinach and artichokes, stir and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add the milk, cheese and yellow cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Continue cooking until the sauce thickens and the cheese and cheese are melted, stirring often.
  • Add the sour cream and mix until smooth.
  • Return the chicken fillets to the pan, along with the separated sauces.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and serve.
