How To Cook Chicken Fillet Stuffed With Dried Tomatoes, Cheese And Spinach - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 chicken breasts, small in size
  • 1/2 cup dried tomatoes, cut into strips
  • 4 slices of yellow cheese
  • a handful of spinach
  • 2 teaspoons butter

For flavoring :

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

 

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Mix the flavoring ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
  • Cut the chicken breasts lengthwise without cutting them all the way.
  • Season both sides with the flavoring mixture.
  • Spread them on a large board and spread the chopped sun-dried tomatoes on one half of them.
  • Cover with yellow cheese and spread the spinach on top.
  • Cover with the other half of the fillet and secure the ends with toothpicks.
  • Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken fillets on both sides for 1-2 minutes until golden.
  • Carefully transfer them to a pan, pour over the separated sauce and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Let the stuffed chicken breasts rest for about 3 minutes before serving.
