How To Cook Chicken Fillet With Rosemary, Honey And Mustard - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1/4 tea cup of mustard
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons cold pressed olive oil
  • 1/2 head of yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 1/2 kilograms of chicken breasts, halved
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Method of preparation :

  • In a small bowl, mix the two types of mustard, honey and olive oil. Stir well.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Add the garlic, stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Grease the bottom of a large pan with the mixture.
  • Spread the steaks on top and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Pour the honey mixture over them and spread the rosemary sprigs between them.
  • Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil, pour the sauce over the meat and bake for another 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve the honey chicken fillets warm, garnished to taste.
