Necessary products

About Julien:

  • 5 chicken lower legs
  • 250 grams of white mushrooms
  • 2 onions
  • 50 grams of yellow cheese
  • 50 grams of butter
  • salt, peppercorns

For the Béchamel sauce:

  • 2 tea cups fresh milk or liquid cream
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 50 grams of flour
  • salt, nutmeg, black pepper (ground)


Method of preparation :

Wash the chicken legs, boil them until semi-finished in salted water, in which put a few grains of black pepper.

While the meat is cooking, finely chop the onion and peeled white mushrooms, then fry them in butter. Pour the finished mixture into a bowl and mix with the chicken (chopped) as soon as it boils.


Béchamel sauce

Melt the butter in a suitable pan, pour in the flour and fry until golden. Then pour the milk in a thin stream, stirring well. Season with ground black pepper, grated nutmeg and salt.

Wait 5-7 minutes for the sauce to thicken, remembering to stir periodically.

 

Pour the mushrooms with onions and chicken in greased serving bowls, pour the sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

Place the julienne for 5 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees, then another 2-3 minutes on the grill function to form a golden crust.
