How To Cook Chicken Legs With Cranberries And Rosemary - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chicken legs with cranberries and rosemary". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500 grams of chicken legs (upper)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/3 tea cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
  • 6 sprigs of rosemary - fresh
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • grated peel of 1 orange

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Put olive oil in a large fireproof pan and heat it. Add the meat skin side down and fry for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy. Take it out on a plate, turning it upside down so that it does not soften from the heat.

Melt the butter in the same pan, add the blueberries, balsamic vinegar, garlic, sugar and orange. Return the meat to the pan (skin side up) and scatter the herbs around it. Simmer until the liquid begins to thicken - about 5 to 10 minutes.

Transfer to the oven and bake until the meat is ready for another 18-25 minutes.

Serve the dish warm.
