Required products :

  • 750 grams of chicken legs / only the lower part /
  • 1 piece of ginger / about 5 centimeters /, peeled and cut
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 grains of white pepper, crushed
  • pinch of salt
  • fresh parsley and sesame seeds for sprinkling

Method of preparation :

  • Wash the chicken legs and lightly dry them with kitchen paper.
  • Transfer them to a deep bowl, add the garlic and ginger and rub them thoroughly into the skin.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining ingredients and mix well to taste evenly.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Once the chicken legs are marinated, arrange them on a tray covered with baking paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 30-40 minutes until a golden crispy crust forms.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh parsley and serve.
