  • carrots
  • 1.5 teaspoons of scalded rice
  • 3 teaspoons boiled water
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 5 tablespoons oil
  • salt, fresh or dried green spices, black pepper

Method of preparation :

Clean the livers and wash them under running water (cold), then put in boiling water for 5-7 minutes, remove with a slotted spoon and cut into cubes.

Peel an onion, wash, chop finely and grate a carrot.

Pour the rice into a colander and rinse it under running cold water until the liquid is completely clear.

Heat the oil in a pan, pour the vegetables into it and simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.

When they soften and change color, add the rice (do not increase the temperature of the stove), stir, add the chopped garlic, fresh or dry green spices, black pepper, salt and stew everything for 3-5 minutes, not forgetting to stir periodically during this time.

Then transfer half of the mixture to a pan, flatten with a spoon and evenly distribute a row of livers on top, cover with the remaining rice and vegetables.

Flatten the surface again and pour 3 teaspoons of hot boiled water. Close the container with a sheet of aluminum foil.

Bake the dish in the oven. It takes about 40-45 minutes to be completely ready.

You can serve it hot, and in addition offer tomato sauce or sour cream.

Have a good time!
