Required products :

  • 750-800 grams of chicken fillet (2 pieces)
  • 1.5 teaspoons dry red wine
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 full teaspoon black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 1 tablespoon sweet red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1.5 tablespoons salt

 

Method of preparation :

Wash the fillet and clean it from the skins.

Pour the wine into a bowl and add honey, mustard, both types of pepper, bay leaf, salt, rosemary and crushed garlic. Heat the mixture if desired.

Put the fillet in a suitable container, fill it with the marinade and close with a lid (if you have preheated, wait for it to cool). The liquid should completely cover the meat.

Leave in the fridge for a day, then roll each piece into a roll and attach a wooden skewer or toothpick. Put in a pan and bake in a hot (250 degrees) oven, which turn off after 25 minutes and let the chicken cool without removing it (about an hour and a half).

Once the pastrami has cooled completely, cut it into pieces and you can serve.
