Required products :

  • 4 pieces of chicken breast
  • 4 cloves garlic - pressed
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 2 cups frozen spinach
  • 1 teaspoon feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup green onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons dill
  • 1 packet of pie crusts
  • 1 teaspoon melted butter
  • 1 cup red onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon kalamata olives
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

Finely chop all the vegetables and divide them into separate bowls.

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, oregano and pour olive oil. Stir with your hands to taste all the fillets.

Put a little olive oil in a heated pan and fry the chicken breasts until ready - 5 minutes on each side at high temperature, then reduce the temperature until fully cooked. Allow the meat to cool, then cut it.

In a bowl, mix the ricotta, frozen spinach, feta cheese, finely chopped green onions. Beat the two eggs and add them to the mixture, add the dill and sprinkle with black pepper. Mix all ingredients well.

 

Pour the melted butter into a rectangular pan. Take 10 pastry crusts and grease every two sheets on both sides.

Put the trays in a tray with a falling bottom, arrange them so that they cover the entire bottom and hang outside it. If necessary, use more crusts to cover the tray and the walls of the dish well.

 

Spread half of the spinach mixture in the pan. Arrange the chicken fillet on top and cover with the other part of the spinach. Align.

 

Arrange the tomatoes on top at the outer end, put the red onion in the middle and the kalamata in the center.

Wrap with the crusts you left hanging at the end. Cover with 2 - 3 more well-oiled crusts. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour in the oven. Remove the foil and cook for another 20 minutes, until brown.

Wait for the pie to cool for at least half an hour before serving.
