How To Cook Chicken Pieces Baked With Sweet Potatoes And Broccoli - Recipe

Required products :

  • 500 grams of sweet potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 2 red onions, cut into quarters
  • 350 grams of broccoli, roses
  • 8 cloves garlic, whole, unpeeled
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 6 upper skinless chicken legs, cut in half
  • 2 lemons - one of juice, the other cut into quarters for serving
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 150 milliliters of chicken broth

Method of preparation :

Put potatoes, onions, broccoli, garlic in a pan. Sprinkle with dried spices and salt. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of oil and stir. Bake the vegetables for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Add chicken to the vegetables, pour over the remaining olive oil and lemon juice, stir and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.

Add the broth and return for a final 15 minutes.

When serving, squeeze the garlic cloves and serve with lemon slices.
