Required products :

  • 750 grams of chicken leg steaks
  • 1/3 tea cup of honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons oil

Method of preparation :

  • Cut the chicken steaks into cubes about 2 inches in size.
  • In a large bowl, combine honey, mustard, soy sauce, garlic and chili sauce and season with a pinch of salt.
  • Stir well until smooth.
  • In a small bowl, separate 4 tablespoons of the marinade that you will need during baking.
  • Add the chicken nuggets to the bowl with the remaining marinade and mix well to taste. Leave them to stand for at least 20 minutes, preferably overnight.
  • String the chicken pieces on the skewers and place them in a pan with oil over medium heat.
  • Bake for about 2-3 minutes on the first side, then turn them over and generously spread the already cooked part with the reserved marinade.
  • Repeat with the other sides until completely browned.
  • Transfer them to a plate and grease them again with the marinade.
  • Serve with a garnish of boiled rice, lime slices and fresh parsley.
