Required products :

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pasta of your choice
  • 700 grams of chicken fillet, cut into cubes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small red pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 tea cup flour
  • 4 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 4 tea cups whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 small head of broccoli, cut into small roses
  • 2 tea cups grated cheddar

Method of preparation :

Boil the pasta until done and set aside after straining.

Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and fry the meat for about 6-10 minutes until golden. Remove the meat to a plate.

Reduce the heat and put the onion and pepper in the pan, along with the other 3 tablespoons of oil. Fry for 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Add the flour and stir, a minute later in a thin stream, stirring constantly, pour the broth. Add the milk and mustard. Let the soup simmer for 7-8 minutes until it starts to thicken.

Add the broccoli and chicken, and bring the soup to a boil again, this time waiting 5 minutes for the broccoli roses to cook. Remove from the heat and leave for 1 minute.

Add the pasta and grated cheese. Stir and serve, optionally garnish with green onion feathers.
