Learn how to cook "Chicken with potatoes, onions and mushrooms in milk sauce". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 500 grams of chicken fillet (legs)
  • 400 grams of potatoes (medium size)
  • 3 carrots
  • 5 small onions
  • 150 grams of mushrooms (boiled or marinated)
  • 100 milliliters of fresh milk or cream (high fat)
  • 50 grams of flour
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • spices to taste

Method of preparation :

Put the chicken in boiling salted water and let it cook over medium heat.

Cut the potatoes and onions into 4 pieces (if the onions are very small, you can put them whole or cut in two only), cut the carrots into circles.

20 - 30 minutes after the meat boils, add the vegetables and spices. Leave everything on the stove until the potatoes are ready.

Remove the meat and drain the vegetables from the broth using a colander. Keep the broth in a separate container and return the vegetables to the pot.

When the fillet / legs have cooled a bit, cut into pieces and add to the vegetables.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan, pour in the flour and mix well. Pour the milk or cream, put the yolks. Stir again so that no lumps form, then pour in the broth that you separated at the beginning. Season with the desired spices. The consistency of the sauce should resemble that of liquid cream.

Drizzle the vegetables and meat with the white sauce and then pour the prepared mushrooms. If desired, add parsley or other green spices.

Mix everything and you are ready to serve.

Enjoy your meal!
