Required products :

  • 1-1.2 kilograms of chicken
  • 2-4 heads of onions
  • 2 sweet peppers
  • 400-500 grams of tomatoes (4-5 tomatoes)
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic
  • 100 milliliters of white wine (can dry red)
  • 30 grams of butter (for frying)
  • 1 hot red pepper (or 1 / 4-1 / 2 teaspoon ground hot red pepper)
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron if desired
  • mix of dried spices
  • parsley
  • basil if desired
  • left

Method of preparation :

Wash the chicken, dry it, cut into portions. Cut onions and sweet peppers (remove their seeds) into semicircles.

Wash the tomatoes, blanch for a minute in boiling water, peel the skins and cut the flesh into small cubes.

Saturate the peeled garlic and parsley cloves. If you use fresh hot pepper, cut it into small cubes.

Heat a greased pan (over medium heat) with a little oil and add the chicken pieces. Fry them in portions until red on all sides. When all the meat is ready, put it back in the pan, turn off the stove, but leave the chicken on it to keep warm.

In another bowl, melt the butter and fry the onion in it until soft, add salt. Pour it over the pieces of meat and pour the pieces of peppers in the same fat. Fry them as well, then add them to the dish with the other products together with the fat.

Add the tomatoes, add a little salt and turn on the stove again. Pour the wine, increase the temperature of the fire and cook for 4-5 minutes until the drink evaporates.

Then reduce the temperature, close the pan with a lid and leave the dish on low heat for another 5-7 minutes. When removed from the heat, wait 5 minutes and serve the dish sprinkled with fresh parsley.

Enjoy your meal!
