How To Cook Chicken With Vegetables In Mexican (chicken Fajitas) - Recipe

Required products :

for marinating meat:

  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 skinless chicken breasts
  • salt and pepper

for vegetables (fajitas):

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3 peppers - cut into strips
  • 1 onion - cut into thin crescents
  • tortilla bread
  • guacamole
  • sour cream

Method of preparation :

Mix the chicken marinade products in a large bowl. Put the meat and roll in the spices. Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) to flavor the chicken fillets.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan. Put the chicken breasts and fry for 8 minutes on the side until the meat is golden and with an appetizing crust. Take it out of the pan and let it rest before cutting.

Meanwhile, put the onions and peppers in the pan. Stew them for 7 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Cut the chicken into slices and put it in the pan. Stir to combine the products.

Serve the chicken fajitas with tortilla cakes, avocado and sour cream.
