How To Cook Chickpea And Bulgur Falafels With Parsley, Curry And Garlic - Recipe

Required products :

  • 250 grams of chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons bulgur
  • 1 onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • in connection with fresh coriander and parsley
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon black and cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda and salt
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon coriander seeds
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • a pinch of ground cardamom
  • 800 milliliters of frying oil

 

Method of preparation :

Fill chickpeas with water overnight. For this recipe you do not need to boil it, just drain the liquid the next day.

Boil the bulgur in 100 milliliters of boiling water for 10 minutes.

Cut as finely as possible the ties coriander and parsley, onion head.

Turn the swollen chickpeas into a thick puree by grinding it in a blender. Add parsley, coriander, onion, salt, baking soda and other spices. Break everything once more.

Then add the bulgur along with the water and flour. Beat again.

Wet your hands with cold water and form balls with a diameter of 2-2.5 centimeters.

Heat the oil in a frying pan with a thick bottom and fry the falafels in it (no longer than 3-4 minutes).
