Required products :

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic - pressed
  • 2 onions - chopped
  • 4 carrots - thinly sliced
  • 4 stalks of celery - thinly sliced
  • 6-8 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 teaspoons vegetable broth
  • 1 packet of wholemeal or gluten-free pasta
  • 1 teaspoon cooked chickpeas (or canned)
  • left
  • parsley for garnish

Method of preparation :

Heat the fat in a saucepan and add the onion, garlic, carrots, celery, thyme and bay leaf. Stew until the vegetables are soft, but should not turn brown. Add the broth and bring to a boil.

Put the pasta and chickpeas and cook until the pasta is cooked - for about 8 minutes. Add salt to taste and sprinkle with parsley.

Serve with crackers or bread.
