How To Cook Chickpea Candies With Walnuts, Honey And Cinnamon - Recipe

Required products :

  • 90 grams of dried chickpeas
  • 30 grams of walnuts
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

 

Method of preparation :

Wash chickpeas, pour cold water for 12 hours, then drain, pour a new one and boil the beans until ready (about 1-1.5 hours).

Once the chickpeas are soft, pour into a colander to remove the liquid. Put the beans in a blender, add the walnuts, cinnamon, honey and grind until smooth.

The mixture is crumbly, but easily formed by hand. Make small balls of it and roll them in a combination of powdered sugar and cocoa.

Store the finished candies in a cool place, covered with a lid.
