How To Cook Chickpea Meatballs With Ham, Onion And Parsley - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Chickpea meatballs with ham, onion and parsley". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 potato, peeled and grated
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 100 grams of ham
  • 400 grams of canned chickpeas, rinsed, drained and pureed
  • 4 tablespoons self-swelling flour
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

Method of preparation :

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and saute onions for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Add the potatoes, cumin and ham and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl and add the mashed chickpeas, flour, parsley and egg. Stir well.
  • Moisten your palms and form 8 meatballs.
  • Heat oil over medium heat and fry the chickpea meatballs for about 5 minutes on each side.
  • Remove on kitchen paper to drain the fat.
  • Serve warm, garnished with your favorite sauce or other to taste.
