Required products :

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons canned beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 125 grams of cream cheese
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, hot pepper, onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup canned corn
  • 1/4 tea cup chopped marinated green hot pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives + more for garnish
  • 1 cup grated ripe mozzarella
  • 1 cup grated white cheddar
  • 1/3 cup salsa verde

Method of preparation :

Preheat oven to 185 degrees.

If you can, use a cast iron skillet with a fireproof handle. Let it be 20 centimeters in size.

Brush with olive oil.

Separate 1/4 cup of beans from the beans and put the rest in a food processor. Add cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, spices and lemon juice. Grind to a uniform consistency.

Transfer the beans to a large bowl and add the chicken, corn, hot pickled peppers and half of the sweet red pepper. Add the wild onion, 1/2 tea cup of mozzarella and cheddar. Stir and put in the pan, flatten with a spatula.

Spread salsa verde on top, sprinkle with beans, peppers and other cheeses.

Bake for 25 minutes under a lid, then bake only on the top rack for another 10 minutes to acquire a delicious appetizing crust.
